Volunteer Your Time!
We can always use volenteers to help with registration at our events.
We need and appreciate all craft items for our craft auction held in the fall. There is plenty of time to start working on crafts for our craft auction in October.
We need people to be on planning commities for events.
We need people who are willing to help collect donations for raffle prizes for our events.
Can you fundraise?
Fundraising is a two part process. First, to raise money and secondly to raise awarness.
Fundraising can be a fun and enjoyable time. Last year the Wright and Wilke families had a pool party fund raiser in
their small community of Stanton, Nebraska. They sold sloppy joes, hot dogs, chips, pop and root beer floats.
Their 9 year old son also sold lemonade that he made himself. They had a balloon pop and duck pond game and sold raffle
tickets for a drawing. They raised $3,000.00 at this event. February 9 the Wrights had a breakfast at the Country
Side Nursing Home where Kris works. They raised $640.00 from the breakfast. Kris said it was very little work
and a chance to share stories about her son's hemophilia.
Think about planning a fundraiser. The first one might be a little scary, but we
are always here to help and our chapter can't be a success without YOU.
